What it is
Bio-remodelling, not filling.
Profhilo is a bio-remodelling treatment formulated with stabilised hyaluronic acid. It is used to support skin hydration, firmness and overall quality across the face and neck.
Profhilo is not a dermal filler and is not intended to add facial volume. Treatment is selected only where clinically appropriate for the individual and following full medical assessment.

Not usually offered during
Pregnancy or breastfeeding, active skin infection, some autoimmune conditions. Discussed at consultation on an individual basis.

Bio-remodelling supports skin quality over time. Response develops across weeks and depends on individual physiology.
Considerations
What to expect.
The session
Skin is cleansed and prepared. Treatment is delivered using established injection technique. The session takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
Immediately after
Small raised areas at injection points are expected and typically settle within 24 hours. Brief redness may be present.
Aftercare
Written aftercare is provided. Standard advice includes avoiding heat, exercise, alcohol and makeup on the treatment area for 24 hours.
Possible reactions
Temporary swelling, bruising or tenderness. Less common reactions are discussed in full at your consultation.
